Calling all beer connoisseurs! The Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival is celebrating 10 years in 2024 – mark your calendars for June 8, 2024, in downtown Mt. Pleasant!
History of the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival
The MPCBF first started in 2014 as a way to bring together community members and visitors to enjoy craft beer, food, and live music! Using the funds raised at the festival each year, the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees donates money back to local organizations and non-profits through their Fall and Spring Gives. Since 2014, the MPCBF has donated over $245,000 in proceeds!
What to Expect at This Year’s Festival
This year’s MPCBF boasts an impressive lineup featuring over 25 breweries, wineries, and distilleries from across the state of Michigan. Try samples from places like Three Bridges Distillery, Saugatuck Brewing Co., B. Nektar Meadery, Founders Brewing Co., Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, and so many more! Mt. Pleasant’s very own Mountain Town Brewing Co. and Hunter’s Handmade Brewery will also be there! Whether you’re a hophead or a seltzer fan, you’re sure to discover your next favorite craft beverage.
No beer festival is complete without delicious food to pair with those tasty brews. During the festival, grab a MacDaddy Hot Dog from Dog Central, or the Smoked Brisket Tacoz from the Twisted Fork Food Truck. While you sip and savor, the MPCBF will come alive with musical guests Kevin Chamberlin and 80s band Jedi Mind Trip!
Back by popular demand, there will be a Beer Stein-holding competition! The last person in each competition (men’s and women’s) who can keep their arm straight without spilling their Stein will win a sweet prize!
Where to Get Tickets
Snag your tickets for the MPCBF on June 8 by visiting mpbeerfest.com/tickets. VIP ticket holders will gain early admission at 3:00 PM, receive a special anniversary sampling glass with 10 drink tickets, and have access to an exclusive VIP area featuring a limited batch of brews ($60 in advance).
General Admission ticket holders will gain admission at 4:00 PM, and receive a sampling glass with 6 drink tickets ($50 in advance). Additional drink tickets may be purchased for $1 each.
Designated Driver tickets can also be purchased for $20.
