Join us annually on Central Michigan University’s campus for the Special Olympic Michigan (SOMI) State Games! For over 50 years, this event has drawn thousands of athletes, coaches, volunteers, and fans to central Michigan. SOMI athletes participate in a variety of competitions including bocce, bowling, gymnastics, horses, powerlifting, swimming and more. The public is encouraged to come out and cheer on the athletes! Interested in volunteering? SOMI has serval opportunities to get involved with the State Summer Games.
