Have plans to visit the Mt. Pleasant area this year? Keep reading to see our list of five things to do while in the heart of downtown Mt. Pleasant!
Relax in a Float Pod at Pure Vitality
Want to know what its like to float in 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt? Find out for yourself at Pure Vitality Juice Bar and Spa! Their float pods offer sensory deprivation which allows your mind and body to enter the most relaxed state you can be in while still awake. Choose to float in complete darkness and silence, or keep the calming lights on while listening to music. The near-weightless environment of floating can improve circulation, blood pressure and heart health. Other spa activities at Pure Vitality include cryotherapy, infrared massages and saunas! Be sure to get a freshly-made juice afterwards.
Admire Local Art at Art Walk Central
Every August the city of Mt. Pleasant turns into a canvas for artists to show off their skills during Art Walk Central. From paintings to sculptures, photography to crafts, there is something for every art enthusiast. Simply admire as a spectator, or participate in the youth and adult categories for your chance to win prizes! This event is hosted by Art Reach of Mid Michigan, which also offers a free art gallery for viewing and a consignment gift shop in downtown Mt. Pleasant.
Shop at a Downtown Shop
