Downtown Mt. Pleasant is home to many annual events that take place throughout the year. Every August the downtown area gets transformed into a canvas for Art Walk Central, where artists travel from all over the region and battle it out for prizes. Also in the summertime, sample different beers, wines, meads and ciders at the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival. But the fun doesn’t stop once the weather cools down. Start the holiday season getting pampered and shopping at Ladies Day Out in November, and then in December catch flying pancakes, decorate cookies and watch the lighted Christmas Parade at the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Celebration.
