We’ve gathered a list of the most anticipated summer events, activities, and happenings that are perfect for both locals and visitors. 1. Music in Island Park: Enjoy this free community concert series brought to you by MMI. Bring your lawn chairs and relax at Downtown Mt. Pleasant’s iconic Island Park!

2. Brews on the Greens at Bucks Run Golf Club: Join Bucks Run Golf Club for an on-course, beer tasting event with Atwater Brewery.

3. Rock N Roll Ave at Rubble’s Bar: Come party to your favorite rock hits from Ratt, Poison, Ozzy, Pink Floyd, Autograph, Foreigner, plus so much more!

July

July 2
4. Rosebush Independence Day 5K: Visit Rosebush for a fun Independence Day 5k. Walk or run – everyone is welcome! Be sure to stick around afterwards for fun events like a classic car show, kids games, a parade, live music and more!

5. Fireworks Show at Soaring Eagle Casino: Watch and celebrate the 4th of July weekend by seeing the free firework show at Soaring Eagle Casino!

6. Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational: Visit the Midland Country Club for the LPGA Great Lakes Bay Innovational (GLBI)! The GLBI works to support non-profits and benefit the tri-city areas of Saginaw, Bay, Midland, and Isabella.

7. Isabella County Youth & Farm Fair: Enjoy events like livestock exhibits, auctions, rides and family-friendly grandstand events.

8. My104.3 & Buck92 Hometown Showdown: Don’t miss this local talent show during the Isabella County Youth & Farm Fair.

July 29-31
9. Saginaw Chippewa Tribal National Powwow: Visit the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation to celebrate native traditions with authentic food, arts, crafts, dancing, and story telling at their annual Powwow.

August

August 4 – 7 
10. Central Michigan University 1990 – 2000s Alumni Weekend: Calling all former Chippewa’s! Return to Mt. Pleasant this summer and revisit old friends while creating new memories.

August 9 – 27
11. Art Walk Central: Celebrate artists by browsing the streets of Downtown Mt. Pleasant and viewing art on public display. Make sure to stop into Art Reach of Mid-Michigan to vote on your favorite art piece!

August 13 – 14 
12. Market for the Arts hosted by For Art’s Sake: Join For Arts Sake as they host 60+ artists and makers on the streets of downtown Mt. Pleasant.

August 6, 13, 20, 27 
13. Movies by Moonlight: Grab your family, some blankets and the popcorn bucket for Mt. Pleasant’s annual Movies by Moonlight – playing movies at dusk by City Hall every Saturday in August!
