Fall Foliage

Mt. Pleasant is home to 1,000 acres of integrated parks, all of which become coated in shades of red, gold, and orange leaves each fall. Trees full of falling leaves line the banks of the Chippewa River and even your furry friends can enjoy the changing leaves at the new dog park. Fall Festivities

Who doesn’t love fun fall events? The area offers a wide array of fall events and activities to peak anyone’s interest. From casino shows, to Broadway Theatre’s Rocky Horror, to haunted yards and haunted tours of Central Michigan University’s campus, to fall farmers’ markets, Mt. Football

Fall football is serious business in a college town! In Mt. Pleasant, a CMU football game brings out the spirit of the university, the passion of CMU alums, and an overflow of support and pride from the community. The Central Michigan University Chippewas will take the field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium 3 more times this season:

Oct. 17- The CMU Chippewas will take on the Buffalo Bulls. Game time is TBD.

Nov. 10- The CMU Chippewas will take on Toledo at 8 p.m.

Nov. 27- The CMU Chippewas will take on Eastern Michigan. Game time is TBD.

Pumpkin Patches and Apple Orchards

Is it really fall if you don’t get your pumpkin and apple fix? Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is Mt. Pleasant’s answer to your fall needs. Papa’s offers U-Pick fruits and vegetables, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, a corn maze, farmers market, and much more! You can also head south to Uncle John’s cider mill and stock up on cider, donuts, and apples. Uncle John’s hosts a number of local events, is home to a winery and cidery, and also offers a number of locally grown goods.

Fall ‘Fore’ Fall Golf
