Time to Fire Up!

Kickoff your afternoon as you head to Kelly/Shorts Stadium and Fire Up with the CMU Chippewas. Stadium seating has been expanded and now has a capacity of 30,255, making it the largest on-campus stadium in the Mid-American Conference. Enjoy replays and other segments from the south video board – also the largest in the Mid-American Conference at 32 feet tall and 100 feet wide – providing the ultimate fan experience.

All of the non-stop action and cheering will no doubt lead to a heaping appetite. Concession stands are located throughout the west and east concourses as well as the south entrance. Whether it’s traditional stadium fare to local flavors, CMU concessions will have something to satisfy your hunger.

The fun doesn’t stop with football – join in as the CMU Marching Band plays the university fight song, The Fighting Chippewa. 50/50 raffle tickets are also available to purchase at each home game, and sellers can be found throughout the stadium. Be sure to stick around until the third quarter to hear the winning ticket number announced. Enjoy other segments and games in-between plays and quarters, and don’t forget to listen for the cannon when the CMU Chippewas score a touchdown.
