Memorial Day is a time to reflect and remember the men and women who have served our country. On Monday, May 28th Mount Pleasant will honor these past and present men and women with a Memorial Day parade.
The parade will begin at the cross street of Broadway and Arnold at and proceed to

Kinney Street

, and up Broadway to the Town Center.

There will be stops along the way at the World War I and World War II monuments as well as the Korean Memorial. The parade will conclude at the Riverview Cemetery.
If you cannot attend the Memorial Day parade, you can show your support in other ways, like writing a letter to a solider
Here are a few other ways in which you can honor the memory of those who fought for our freedom.  Buy a Veteran lunch, Plant a tree in honor of someone, take flowers to the Commission on Aging here in Mount Pleasant.  Or simply take time out of your Memorial Day and give thanks.
