Max and Emily’s Summer Concert Series

The Max & Emily’s Summer Concert Series began in 2008 as a vision from owner Tim Brockman and GM Chris “Elmo” Walton, with a goal to bring free, live music to downtown Mt. Pleasant. What started as a one-night show quickly grew into a beloved annual tradition.

Over the years, the series has welcomed nationally known acts like The Verve Pipe, The Ragbirds, Howie Day, and Jeff Daniels—a CMU alum—drawing thousands to Broadway Street each summer.

Each concert is free, family-friendly, and filled with good food, great music, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Bring your lawn chairs, bring the family, and join us downtown for summer 2025!
