Remember those late-night study sessions at Park Library, the roar of the crowd at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, Thursday nights downtown, or grabbing Starbuck’s at the Bovee University Center? It’s time to relive those fired up memories and make some new ones! Whether you’re back in Mt. Pleasant for a reunion, visiting family, or reliving your campus days, Mt. Pleasant is thrilled to welcome you home.
Alumni Tip: Make a weekend or a few days out of your trip! The Courtyard by Mariott Mt. Pleasant at Central Michigan University, Super 8, Comfort Inn & Suites, and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Mariott are the closet campus but all Mt. Pleasant hotels are within close proximity.
The Nostalgia Factor – Relive your University Experience
Take a stroll down memory lane and revisit the places on campus that defined your CMU experience! Walk through the Bovee University Center to shop at the CMU Bookstore and grab a bite to eat at the Down Under Food Court. Visit your old dorm hall, campus buildings and the iconic CMU Seal on the north end of campus. Or plan your trip around a CMU sporting event to feel the energy of a fired-up crowd at Kelly/Shorts Stadium or McGuirk Arena!
Alumni Tip: Remember – Don’t step on the C in the center of campus, it’s bad luck!
Re-visit your Favorites (Off Campus)
Step off campus and stop by your old favorites. Grab pizza and cabin stix from The Cabin, a brew from Mountain Town Station, an Artic Swirl from Doozie’s, or head straight to The Bird Bar and Grill for drinks and a Bird Burger to see if it all still feels the same.
Alumni Tip: Download the Meet Mt. Pleasant App and complete tours and challenges to win prizes.
