Wet Felted Mushrooms

In this class, we’ll be using the wet felting technique to create lovely fall mushrooms. This process involves using soft, fine unspun Merino wool, water, soap, and agitation, as well as small resists to transform our 2D mushroom layouts to 3D sculpted mushrooms. We’ll start with a simple mushroom shape, and then students will make another mushroom, or two, or their choice. There will be plenty of wool color options to choose from, and examples will be provided.
Instruction and demonstration will go over the process from start to finish. Beginners and those with experience are welcome to join this class!
