With ‘Jackass Forever’ (2022) being “the perfect movie to come out right now” according to film critic Chris Stuckmann, we at VHS Night thought what better time to give many of us our first chance to see the original one on the big screen!

‘Jackass: The Movie’ shocked and amazed audiences in 2002, vastly improving what the hit MTV show had accomplished over the previous few years and making instant stars out of Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Jason “Wee Man” Acuna, Chris Pontius, and many others. E! Online wrote in 2002 that it was “the funniest film of 2002, whether uptight cinema snobs admit it or not.” Whether or not you love these antics, one thing is for certain: the bigger the crowd you’re watching them in, the more memorable the experience.

About Magnum Opus

As a surprise bonus, we’ll have a special early screening at 7pm of Michigan’s very own take on ‘Jackass,’ MAGNUM OPUS.
Director Addison Binek will be there to introduce the movie, talk about the amazing(ly dumb) stuff he and his friends did on film, and the dumb stuff we ALL DID to make our friends laugh in that magical era before social media.
