Join us on Sunday, September 11th at 1:00PM for a trail building session at Sylvan Solace Preserve.
We plan to add an approx. 0.25 mile trail to the east of the current trailhead. This trail will meander through the woods and link up with the current trail system near the butterfly garden and memorial grove.
When Sylvan Solace was originally developed as a preserve, a trail ran through this area. Over time this trail became overgrown and was abandoned. Although this new trail will not follow the exact route, it will restore a path through that portion of the preserve for the first time in years.
No prior experience is necessary to participate. We will provide all necessary equipment and a training.
