Join instructor Tanya Ehrsam for a simple, non-traditional way of creating curves in a quilt. No fitting or pinning curved pieces. Students will learn the Serenity pattern, cut and piece the quilt top and learn how to create your quilt sandwich for final quilting and binding. Come meet new friends, and sew yourself into serenity. You will leave with a functional piece of art that can be used daily or displayed on a wall.
This 2-week workshop will be held on Sundays from noon to 4 p.m., January 18 & 25, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Students should bring their selected fabric and their own sewing machine. If you do not have a machine, Art Reach will provide one. Students should have some prior machine sewing experience.
Recommended age: 16 and up
