Plein Air at the Greenhouse

If winter has you down, feel refreshed with a dose of greenery and painting. Cheryl Meyer will lead you through the art of watercolor painting “en plein air” at Central Michigan University’s Greenhouse, for a serene atmosphere away from the winter chill. She will guide you in the best practices of watercolor painting while demonstrating how to capture the light and composition that makes plein air so special. Students should bring a camp chair, preferably with a cup holder. All painting supplies will be provided.

This class will be held from 1-3 pm Friday, February 14, at the CMU Greenhouse. The Greenhouse is located between Brooks Hall and the Dow Science Building. Metered parking, using the Pango mobile app is available in lots 15, 10, and 36. Otherwise, students may purchase guest passes online at www.parking.cmich.edu
