Melting Hearts: Fused Glass Creations

Join instructor Penny Leathley for a Valentine ’s-themed exploration of fused glass. To commemorate the holiday of love, students will select from heart shapes, colorful rods, and frits and utilize simple snipping tools on glass to create beautiful and functional miniature artworks. All supplies will be provided to create two small hanging suncatchers, and projects will be fired off-site to be picked up at a later date. Take this opportunity to explore a new medium and fall in love with fused glass!

This workshop will be held from 10 am- 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 24, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.

Recommended age: 13 and up
