Goats Milk Soapmaking Workshop

Instructor Samantha Falsetta of C S Farm will show you how to create your own silky smooth cold process soap.  Using fresh goat milk from her farm, you will be provided with all the ingredients, supplies, and instructions to begin your journey in soapmaking and have a homemade 1 lb. batch of soap to take home. Students will get to select from an assortment of fragrances and colors to make for a luxurious bathtime experience. Emphasis will be placed on the safe handling of materials, as cold-process soap utilizes lye for the saponification process.

Please note: students should come with long sleeves, pants, & closed-toe shoes. We will provide safety glasses and rubber gloves.

The workshop will be held from 1-3p, Saturday, August 17, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E Broadway, Mt. Pleasant.
