Comics the Marvel Way: Session TWO

Meet Marvel comic book illustrator Gerald DeCaire and learn all about comic book illustration in this 90-minute condensed workshop!

The workshop will include tutorials on drawing a profile and
detailing a full-figured superhero in blocked form, emphasizing anatomy.
Participants will also receive an 11″ X 17″ blueline illustration to be
inked (embellished) by them, providing an introductory experience as an
inker for the comic book industry. Attendees will also learn how to
color digital comics using layers and importation of textures in
Photoshop. Jerry will also talk about careers in art, especially comic
art. How to contact publishing houses and what one must do to get
started in the business will be discussed.
