Boho Wood-Burned Necklaces

Join jewelry artist Becki Brandow for a multi-media approach to jewelry making. Working from wood pendant blanks, you’ll be guided in woodburning techniques to add decorative flair to your pendant, and guided in beading your necklace. Selecting from an assortment of wood and glass beads, crystals, and more, you’ll learn how to design and lay out your pattern, string your necklace, and use tools to attach clamps. A protective finish is available for your wood pendant. All supplies provided and no experience necessary!

This workshop will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.

Recommended age: 12 and up
