Art Journaling: Poetry and Watercolors

This class, led by artist and poet Cheryl Meyer, is perfect for anyone interested in exploring the intersection of poetry and visual art. Participants will receive a watercolor art journal to practice their technique while building prose. You can expect to cover some basic poetry forms while embellishing your prose with artful watercolor embellishments. Any level of experience or ability is welcome. Discover how the written word and visual art can come together to create deeply personal and evocative journal pages.

The class will be held from 5:30-8:30 pm on Wednesday, September 18, in the Brannan Family Meeting Room at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
