2023 Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma Mt. Pleasant - Jacob Davila Memorial Walk

When you register for the 2023 event, your $35 donation supports the National Scleroderma Foundation’s three-fold mission to provide educational and emotional support to people with scleroderma and their families; to stimulate and support research designed to identify the cause and cure of scleroderma as well as improve methods of treatment; and, to enhance the public’s awareness of this disease.

While our walk benefits all those dealing with scleroderma, this walk has a special focus on men with the disease. They make up only 20% of all those with scleroderma. Michigan currently hosts the only men’s support group in the world! We have members from as close as Mt. Pleasant and as far away as Australia! This walk is designed to help bring awareness to this demographic who suffer from this disease.
