#Threads2.0

For 20 years, the student-produced Threads Fashion Show has offered a platform for aspiring apparel designers, in addition to providing students essential real-world experience in numerous aspects of fashion production, ranging from public relations, photography, fundraising, video production and graphic design, to model management, choreography and more. Students put every aspect of the fashion show together with help from faculty advisor Ian Mull. Whether it is producing the show, directing, modeling, or designing. This event is planned months ahead and students put in hours upon hours of work to make this show something truly amazing.

The theme of this years show is “Threads 2.0: The Evolution” as we are proudly celebrating our 20th anniversary. Our aim is to represent all of our past fashion shows and designers and display how we have evolved through out the years. We have invited alumni who have participated in our previous shows back to showcase their designs once again. We want to show an evolution of fashion through out the past 20 years and the evolution of the Threads Fashion Show.

With prior attendance as high as 1,500, Threads is the second-largest annual event hosted on the campus of Central Michigan University with every year being a new and unique experience for guests. We would be honored if you would accept our invitation to join us for the event. The show will begin promptly at 8 p.m. in Finch Fieldhouse on Central Michigan University’s campus in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
